A distinction is made between self-adhesive and self-adhesivefilms:

  • Self-adhesivefilms adhere to the window without adhesive, purely through their static attraction.
These films can always be removed and reapplied, but are only suitable for interior installation.

  • Self-adhesive films adhere actively to the window through the film adhesive on the back.
They can be removed once without damaging the glass or leaving any residue. Adhesive films are also suitable for outdoor installation because they withstand even storms.
