A wide range of applications for wall protection films
Wall protection films protect your walls from leaning objects or passers-by as well as from vandalism such as paint smears. Soiling by children or pets is also a possible source that will encourage you to protect your freshly painted wall effectively in the future.
Anyone who keeps a dog as a pet knows that the four-legged friends like to leave unpleasant traces on the walls at the sleeping place or at the feeding place over time. This is exactly where a wall protection film is a sensible retrofit that can be carried out quickly and inexpensively. Simply applied with the flat of the hand, installation is child's play.
FAQ's about wall protection films
On which surfaces do wall protection films adhere?
Depending on the nature of the surface to which the protective film is to be applied, the right choice must be made. We therefore offer wall protection films for the following surfaces:
- smooth surfaces, walls and wallpaper
- roughsurfaces, plastered or clinkered walls and uneven wallpaper
- painted surfaces
All wall protection films can be warmed by hand with a hairdryer in order to be pulled around corners or corrugations and thus adapt to the surface in the best possible way.
How do I apply a wall protection film?
Self-adhesive wall protection films have a transparent adhesive applied to the back, just like a sticker. On top of this is a backing paper that must first be peeled off. Now the film is placed on the surface to be protected and smoothed out piece by piece by hand.
For rough surfaces, it is advisable to press the film on again with a kitchen towel in order to press the film even better into the unevenness.
How do I remove wall protection film?
To remove a wall protection film, it is grasped at one corner and then slowly pulled off at a wrong angle. Depending on the substrate, it may happen that loose parts of the substrate are pulled off on the adhesive side of the film.
