Scratch protection film saves time and money
Once damage has occurred, glass replacement is a time-consuming and unnecessarily expensive option. Scratch protection films are preventive and can be used both indoors and outdoors. They effectively protect metal and window surfaces from damage caused by vandalism. The films, also known as anti-scratch films, can be applied subsequently without removing the glazing and are not visually noticeable.
Hardly visible to attackers
Due to the crystal-clear transparency, the retrofitted anti-scratch film is invisible to attackers. The pane remains unchanged in its old appearance. After damage, the protective film can simply be replaced with a new film. The glass underneath remains undamaged thanks to the material thickness of 120 µm.
FAQ's about scratch protection films
What are the benefits of scratch protection films?
A scratch protection film absorbs the forces caused by external impact and effectively protects the underlying surface from scratches and signs of use. The film absorbs scratches to a certain extent and must then be replaced.
How do I apply scratch protection film?
Self-adhesive scratch protection films have a transparent adhesive applied to the back, just like a sticker. On top of this is another cover film, which must first be peeled off. Now the adhesive side and the pane are sprayed with water. Then the film is placed on the glass and the water is wiped out from under the film.
How do I remove anti-scratch film from the window?
To remove an anti-scratch film, grasp it at one corner and then slowly pull it off at a wrong angle. In the case of adhesive films, the film can be warmed up beforehand with a hair dryer to dissolve the film adhesive.
