Easy-to-apply edge sealant for foil cages

The "TOTAL SEAL" from iSee2 is perfectly suited for sealing the edges of the film. This step is generally highly recommended for outdoor installations and is especially essential for outdoor installations on skylights in order to effectively protect the open cut edge of the window film from UV light. This is because the film is "open" at the edge due to the cut and is therefore most vulnerable. With an unsealed film edge, the film will otherwise be subject to oxidation over time, which will attack and degrade the material of the film over time.

Application

With the help of the pen, you can counteract the ageing process and maximise the durability of the film. To do this, simply apply a fine line exactly to the edge of the film about 24 hours after the film has been applied (by which time the film adhesive has hardened). The liquid in the pen is transparent and hardly visible on the window. To guide the pen as straight as possible, it is advisable to place your own hand on the window frame. This way you will get a clean, straight line without any effort. The condition of the sealant should be checked for weathering after 2 years and reapplied if necessary.

In addition to the pen, the scope of delivery also includes a replacement tip and instructions for use. The content of the pen is sufficient for approximately 149 metres of film edge to be sealed.
