SQUID® is 100% made in Belgium. This unique window decoration is designed and manufactured by Lampe-textiles in Tielt, near Ghent. A passion for fabrics, an appreciation for beauty, and the highest quality standards drive us.
Sun protection prevents excessively warm indoor temperatures
SQUID® textile woven film blocks some of the sun's heat and is therefore a good solution for all windows exposed to strong sunlight. Even the most intense sunlight and extreme humidity cannot harm the material. Since it is a breathable material, unlike solar control film, SQUID® is also suitable for HR++(+) glass or laminated glass.
Cleaning – Do’s and don’ts:
- Dust can be removed with a lint-free cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. Make sure the brush is clean.
- If dust particles cannot be removed easily, a sticky lint roller, like the kind used for clothing, can be used.
- Light stains such as mud can be removed with water and a microfiber cloth.
- Heavier stains can often be removed with a water-based / solvent-free cleaning solution. Due to the wide variety of products, it is recommended to test the product on a small area first.
- Do not clean SQUID® with a wet sponge, steam, or a jet of water, as it may lose its adhesive properties.
- Do not remove the product and/or wash it, as the adhesive will lose its strength and cannot be reapplied.
- If a window is partially covered with SQUID®, clean the part not covered with SQUID® using a microfiber cloth and a window-cleaning solution such as our Surface & Glass Cleaner. Make sure not to use too much glass cleaner, as this may leave stains on the fabric.
Easy removal
SQUID® can be easily removed by lifting one corner and pulling back the fabric. Once removed, the textile fabric can no longer be used for this purpose. After removal, some adhesive residue may remain. This can be easily removed with a little warm soapy water.
After receiving the goods
The SQUID® textile fabric is coated with a sensitive adhesive. Therefore, the ordered product must be unpacked and stored unrolled immediately upon arrival at the customer. If the product remains rolled up, the adhesive may detach from the textile fabric and SQUID® will no longer adhere to the glass. Complaints in this regard cannot be accepted.
Note on cut edges
Due to the production process, individual ends of the fabric in the form of minimal threads may protrude along the edge of a textile fabric film. These threads were not cleanly captured and cut during trimming. Please do not pull on these ends; instead, carefully trim protruding threads with fine scissors if necessary.

Hervorragend !
Die Folie kam dank der erstklassigen Verpackung unversehrt bei uns an. Mit der absolut klaren Anleitung erfolgte das Anbringen an die Verglasung im Handumdrehen. Wirklich ein durchdachtes und hervorragendes System! Die Folie in Farbe Bone erfüllt genau unsere Erwartung in puncto Sichtschutz - Toll und vielen Dank für dieses System - wir bestellen die Folie gleich noch für zwei weitere Scheiben :-)
Perfekt
Die Fensterfolie, welche perfekt verpackt und unbeschädigt bei mir ankam, passte perfekt in das zuvor ausgemessene Fenster. Das Material fühlt sich gut an und lässt sich leicht an der Scheibe anbringen. Selbst bei der finalen Verklebung mittels Druck und einem Rakel, welcher mitgeliefert war, verzog sich das Material nicht. Einfach ein perfektes Produkt.
Elegante Folie mit gutem Sichtschutz
Die Folie ließ sich spielend leicht anbringen - ohne Bläschen. Sie sieht sehr edel auf den Fenstern aus. Wenn es außen heller als innen ist, bietet sie einen hervorragenden Sichtschutz. Wir wollten eigentlich Scheibengardinen, die ganz flach nur auf den Scheiben zu sehen sind. Das haben wir mit den textilen Folien perfekt erreicht. Auf dem Bild ist ein Bereich heller als der andere, weil die Sonne gerade einen solchen Schatten wirft.
Wie ein dünner Vorhang.
Wir sind absolut zufrieden mit Squid. Die Folie ließ sich leichter anbringen als erwartet. Sie wirkt wie ein sehr dünner Vorhang direkt auf der Scheibe.
Wunderschöne Folie
Die Folie ist , dank der sehr guten Montageanleitung, sehr gut anzubringen. Sie sieht wunderschön edel und natürlich aus und bietet guten Sichtschutz bei Tag. Wenn man das Licht abends anmacht, ist der Sichtschutz jedoch nicht gegeben.

Optik, Montage und Service super"
Ich habe die Textilgewebefolie für die Haustür als Sonnen- und Sichtschutz, weil ich meinen Nachbarn, keine verspiegelte Folie zumuten wollte. Nach einer telefonischen Beratung war ich mir schließlich sicher, dass genau diese Folie am besten passen würde, weil ich auch eine Milchglasscheibe an der Haustüre habe. Ich bin begeistert: Das Material sieht edel aus, die Montage war kinderleicht. Danke für den guten Service.
Kann die Textilfolie auf eine Adhäsionsfolie aufgebracht werden und das als Verbund an der Scheibe angebracht werden?
Guten Tag, ist das Produkt auch als Blendschutz bei tiefstehender Sonne geeignet?
Es geht um einen Vortragsraum und je nach Jahreszeit blendet die tiefstehende Sonne den Vortragenden. Bzw. Fallen ggf. auf den Präsentationsmonitor.
Die Blendung wird mit diesem Produkt je nach Farbe spürbar reduziert. Nachfolgend die geschätzte Blendungsreduktion durch SQUID Window Textile

Kann man diese Textilfolien auch als Blendschutz/ Sonnenschutz bei einem Terrassenglasdach verwenden?
Welche Version aus Ihrem Angebot wäre zu empfehlen? Ist ein heller oder dunkler Farbton effektiver?
Die Textilgewebefolien sind für den Außenbereich leider nicht geeignet. Durch den ständigen Wechsel von Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit (Tag/Nacht) können sie Schaden nehmen und sich mit der Zeit verschlechtern. Zudem bieten sie keinen zuverlässigen Blendschutz.
Wir empfehlen von außen eine stark verspiegelte Sonnenschutzfolie anzubringen. Sie erfüllt alle gewünschten Eigenschaften hält der Witterung gut Stand.
Wird der Sonnenschutz Ihrer Erfahrung nach auch auf einem schrägen Dachfenster mit extremer Sonneneinstrahlung zuverlässig kleben?

Lässt sich die Folie wieder entfernen?
Sollte sich im Verlauf mal eine Ecke lösen, die dann nicht mehr gut klebt. Gibt es Möglichkeiten die Ecke wieder klebbar zu machen?
Bietet die Folie wenn es draußen dunkel ist und man im Zimmer Licht an hat auch ein wenig Sichtschutz oder so gar nicht?
Bei Artikel 251070 handelt es sich dabei um Squid Transparent oder Squid Opaque?

Kann man die Textilfolie in transparent im Bad auch als Sichtschutz verwenden oder ist diese zu durchsichtig?
Der Sichtschutz ist am Tag bei ca. 50% wenn man die transparente Version einsetzt. Es kommt daher auf die Gegebenheiten vor Ort an um entscheiden zu können ob dies ausreichend ist.
In der Nacht müsste man eine Plissee oder Rollladen runter lassen können um ausreichend Sichtschutz zu haben. Ohne ist die Einsicht wieder relativ gut möglich.
