UV Protection Film Shields Against Fading
This transparent UV protection film is used wherever fading of furniture, clothing, carpets, or display items should be effectively slowed down. The film reduces fading by a factor of 3-4. Its very high UV protection of approximately 99.5% ensures the color fidelity of your items. Glass remains clear and transparent even with the film applied.
Effective 99.5% UV Protection
A UV protection film primarily blocks the strongly penetrating UVA and UVB rays with wavelengths below 380 nm, protecting the objects behind from fading.
The graph on the left shows the measurement results of our UV protection film for wavelengths between 250 and 1000 nm. The curve indicates that UV rays up to 378.1 nm are blocked 100%. Beyond that, UV transmittance increases. This results in a 99.5% UV protection. High-quality UV protection products achieve over 99% shielding, whereas conventional films usually barely reach this.
Theoretically, rays with wavelengths > 378 nm can still affect objects behind the film. A 100% protection cannot be guaranteed. An effective UV protection film can slow fading by a factor of 3-5.
Sun Protection Function
Additionally, this window film provides some heat protection, as sunlight is slightly reduced. Total solar energy rejection (reduced radiation at the glass) is 14%. However, the decisive factor is the unmatched UV protection of about 99.5%, which is even slightly higher than standard sun protection films.
Protection Against Bird Strikes
Effects via UV Absorption
UV-absorbing window surfaces create a “color tint” in reflected or transmitted areas, helping birds avoid those parts. Partial UV-absorbing areas create contrast with reflective or transparent sections, making the window partly tinted or reflective, allowing birds to perceive the glass during approach.
Effects via UV Reflection
If a bird perceives the UV-reflective window as mostly transparent (not reflective), the reflected UV image overlays the transparent area, discouraging the bird. If perceived as reflective, UV reflection can appear less effective. Partial UV-reflective areas create a “color contrast” or “reflection contrast” against otherwise reflective sections. Parallax during approach allows the bird to perceive the glass.

Our Installation Recommendation for Maximum Bird Protection
For optimal protection, we recommend applying the film in multiple strips on the window, e.g., horizontal 5cm wide strips. After the first strip, leave a 5cm gap, then apply the next strip. Repeat this pattern until the window is fully covered.
UV protection and actinic keratosis
Actinic keratosis is primarily caused by long-term exposure of the skin to UV radiation and is considered a potential precursor to squamous cell carcinoma. The manufacturer grants a 10-year guarantee on this UV protective film for vertical installation and for sloped glazing (skylights) with a roof pitch of 25° or more. This guarantee covers peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von den Schutzfolien von Velken! Ich nutze sie, um die Glasscheiben meiner Bilderrahmen zu bekleben – darin hängen unterschriebene Trikots, die mir sehr wichtig sind. Dank der Folie sind sie jetzt optimal vor UV-Strahlung und Ausbleichen geschützt. Die Qualität ist wirklich top: die Folie lässt sich leicht anbringen, haftet perfekt und ist glasklar, sodass man keinen Unterschied sieht. UV Schutzfolie innen
Die Bestellung und der Versand waren einwandfrei. Das Anbringen erfolgt am besten zu zweit. Alleine geht es auch, ist aber sehr umständlich, da die Trägerfolie abgezogen werden muss. Zusätzlich habe ich das Montageset genutzt, was alles notwendige enthält . Es sollte genügend Flüssigkeit aufgetragen werden, damit die Folienposition noch korrigiert werden kann. Vor Aufbringen der Folie sollte wie bei allen selbstklebenden Folien auch die Scheibe und der Fensterrahmen gründlich gereinigt werden, da Schmutzpartikel am Ende sonst sichtbar sind. Weder von außen noch von innen sieht man, dass eine Folie aufgebracht ist. Das beigefügte Bild zeigt das Doppelfenster mit aufgebrachter Schutzfolie. Bei den beiden unteren kleinen Fenstern wurde keine Schutzfolie aufgebracht.
UV -Schutzfolie für Weltladen Erding
Die UV Folie wurde schnell und ohne Mängel bei mir angeliefert. Sehr stabil verpackt. Preis und Leisungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

UV Folie - Verarbeitung ohne Probleme
Hatte etwas Bedenken aber die Verarbeitung (mit 4 Händen) der UV Schutzfolie war problemlos, das Ergebnis ist einwandfrei und die Folie ist nach zwei Tagen fast unsichtbar
Perfekt nur vom Fachmann
Ich habe mir für unser Ladenlokal die UV-Schutzfolie bestellt, diese wurde genau wie beschrieben sehr gut verpackt verschickt…alles bestens. Ich selber habe mich um 1 Meter vertan, falsch abgemessen, sind 3,30 hab aber nur 2,29 bestellt. Das ist sogar einerseits besser gewesen weil ich mit der Größe schon mit meiner Kollegin Probleme hatte. Ich empfehle bei der Größe eher zwei Folien zu bestellen, also in der Mitte einen Cut zu haben oder noch besser vom Fachmann anbringen lassen. Habe auch das Transfer Konzentrat mitbestellt, zum Glück weil nach Öfteren versuchen hat es nicht ausgereicht und ich musste mit Wasser besprühen dabei sind leichte Flecken entstanden. Aber man ist im Nachhinein immer schlauer. Das fehlende Stück werde ich mir noch sobald ich dazu komme nachbestellen. Kleines Fenster hätte ich so wie im Video auch super hinbekommen, hab schon einige Folien angebracht, war mit der Größe überfordert 🙈
Fast Perfekt
Folie ist prima. Montage ist einfach. Lesen oder Video schauen hilft enorm. Wirkung ist deutlich spürbar. Positiv überrascht hat mich, der relativ hohe Lichteinfall trotz guter Abschirmung. Warum dann nur fast? Die Trennung der Folien ist etwas frickelig. Ist aber eine Kleinigkeit.
Produkt prima - meine Verarbeitung leider nicht
Mit dem Kauf dieser Folie bin ich sehr zufrieden. Die Website ist informativ und der Bestellvorgang einfach. Auch das Erklärvideo ist kompakt und hilfreich. Die Folie kam schnell und war exakt auf das gewünschte Maß geschnitten. Sie ist wirklich glasklar und das Montieren ist handwerklich nicht schwierig. Was den Preis angeht, habe ich auch keinen günstigeren Anbieter im Netz entdeckt. Auch nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Service bekam ich eine schnelle und hilfreiche Antwort auf meine Frage. Kritik kann ich nur an mir selbst üben: Mir ist es leider nicht gelungen, die Folie ohne kleinste Staubeinschlüsse aufzubringen. Hierzu muss ich sagen, dass ich eine Seite einer Vitrine beklebt habe, um mir das Ausstatten der Fenster mit Folie zu ersparen. (Auf dem Foto ist es die linke Seite und man erkennt viele kleine, helle Punkte.) Da man anders von innen nicht an das Vitrinenglas gelangt, musste ich dieses ausbauen. Um es beim Rakeln nicht zu zerbrechen, wählte ich den Boden als festen Untergrund. Das war wohl keine so gute Idee, obwohl der Boden vorher natürlich gewischt wurde. Wir haben die Montage zu zweit durchgeführt. Ich werde nun auch eine Fensterscheibe mit UV-Folie ausstatten und hoffe, dass mir das besser gelingt.
Günstiger UV-Schutz nach Maß
Sehr stabil verpackt, schnelle Lieferung, gute Verarbeitbarkeit. Das Montagevideo nimmt Laien die anfängliche Angst. Prima Artikel zu einem erträglichen Preis.

Klare selbstklebende Folie wurde super verpackt versendet. Folie war sehr gut auf Maß geschnitten. Erklärvideo macht es leicht die Folie anzubringen.

Die Folien sind gegen UV – Strahlen sehr effektiv. Man kann beruhigt sein, dass Gegenstände im Raum keinen Schaden nehmen.

Die transparente UV-Schutzfolie wurde schnell und ordentlich verpackt geliefert. Die Gebrauchsanweisung mit QR-Code und kurzem Video war selbsterklärend und eine grosse Hilfe. Das Folie anbringen hat ohne Probleme und ohne Falten und Luftblasen super geklappt obwohl ich keine Vorkenntnisse hatte. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Bis zu welcher Wellenlänge im UVA Bereich und mit wieviel Prozent wird die UVA Strahlung durch die Sonnenschutzfolie geblockt?
Wenn die Folie als Schutz vor Vogelschlag dienen soll, beklebe ich letztendlich (streifenweise) nur die halbe Fensterfläche, richtig?
Die Formulierung in der Beschreibung „bis die Scheibe komplett foliert ist“ verunsichert mich etwas.
Ist die Folie auch zur Innenmontage bei Dachfenstern geeignet oder muss dort, um Glasbruch bei Sonneneinstrahlung zu vermeiden, eine Folie von außen angebracht werden?

Das geht wahrscheinlich nicht weil das Glasdach leicht gewölbt sein dürfte. Unsere Folien sind nur für herkömmliche Flachglasscheiben geeignet und lassen sich maximal über eine Achse gewölbt ohne Falten verlegen.
