UV Protection Film Shields Against Fading
This transparent UV protection film is used wherever fading of furniture, clothing, carpets, or display items should be effectively slowed down. The film reduces fading by a factor of 3-4. Its very high UV protection of approximately 99.5% ensures the color fidelity of your items. Glass remains clear and transparent even with the film applied.
Effective 99.5% UV Protection
A UV protection film primarily blocks the strongly penetrating UVA and UVB rays with wavelengths below 380 nm, protecting the objects behind from fading.
The graph on the left shows the measurement results of our UV protection film for wavelengths between 250 and 1000 nm. The curve indicates that UV rays up to 378.1 nm are blocked 100%. Beyond that, UV transmittance increases. This results in a 99.5% UV protection. High-quality UV protection products achieve over 99% shielding, whereas conventional films usually barely reach this.
Theoretically, rays with wavelengths > 378 nm can still affect objects behind the film. A 100% protection cannot be guaranteed. An effective UV protection film can slow fading by a factor of 3-5.
Sun Protection Function
Additionally, this window film provides some heat protection, as sunlight is slightly reduced. Total solar energy rejection (reduced radiation at the glass) is 14%. However, the decisive factor is the unmatched UV protection of about 99.5%, which is even slightly higher than standard sun protection films.
Protection Against Bird Strikes
Effects via UV Absorption
UV-absorbing window surfaces create a “color tint” in reflected or transmitted areas, helping birds avoid those parts. Partial UV-absorbing areas create contrast with reflective or transparent sections, making the window partly tinted or reflective, allowing birds to perceive the glass during approach.
Effects via UV Reflection
If a bird perceives the UV-reflective window as mostly transparent (not reflective), the reflected UV image overlays the transparent area, discouraging the bird. If perceived as reflective, UV reflection can appear less effective. Partial UV-reflective areas create a “color contrast” or “reflection contrast” against otherwise reflective sections. Parallax during approach allows the bird to perceive the glass.

Our Installation Recommendation for Maximum Bird Protection
For optimal protection, we recommend applying the film in multiple strips on the window, e.g., horizontal 5cm wide strips. After the first strip, leave a 5cm gap, then apply the next strip. Repeat this pattern until the window is fully covered.
UV protection and actinic keratosis
Actinic keratosis is primarily caused by long-term exposure of the skin to UV radiation and is considered a potential precursor to squamous cell carcinoma. According to the product measurements, our transparent UV protection film filters approximately 99.5% of UV radiation and can therefore significantly reduce UV exposure behind glazed surfaces. The manufacturer grants a 10-year guarantee on this UV protective film for vertical installation and for sloped glazing (skylights) with a roof pitch of 25° or more. This guarantee covers peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film.
Durability
Depending on various factors, the durability of the films is up to 14 years in Central Europe. In the case of sloped glazing such as roof windows with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the stronger solar radiation and higher exposure to environmental influences.

sehr gute UV Folie
Folie ist leicht und blasenfrei anzubringen. Sie praktisch "unsichtbar" und mindert in keinster Weise die Licht Transmission. Das Montagewerkzeug ist ebenfalls sehr gut und gewährleistet kratzerfreies Rakeln.
Kinderleichte Anbringung
Wir sind begeistert. Die Folie lies sich zu zweit super leicht anbringen. Dank des Transfermittels konnte man die Folie perfekt positionieren und dann durch den Rakel das überschüssige Wasser wegdrücken. Einfacher geht’s kaum! Wir sind super zufrieden und man erkennt nicht, dass eine Folie angebracht wurde (wollten nur einen UV Schutz)
Montage ist entscheidend
Die Folie ist kaum zu sehen und somit empfehlenswert. Es hängt allerdings von der sorgfältigen Montage ab. Wir haben leider ein paar Staubpartikel und Haare auf die Folie bekommen und auch einen Knick, die leider nun etwas sichtbar sind. Wir versuchen es nun nochmal.
Viel zu schwierig bei großen Flächen (Schaufenster) und Schlierenbildung
Die UV-Schutzfolie bei großen Flächen mit 2 Personen anzubringen, ist sehr schwierig, nach der Montage von Türe und 1 x Schaufenster haben wir die Folie wieder entfernt, da sich unschöne Schlieren zwischen Glas und Folie gebildet haben, so dass das Glas schmutzig aussah. Außerdem gehen Knicke nicht mehr aus der Folie heraus, was das Aussehen auch massiv verschlechtert. Ich habe nun 2 Folien in den Müll geschmissen, über € 200,- sind in den Müll gewandert, ich ärgere mich total, so ein riesen Aufwand und dann doch Müll. Und die Transferflüssigkeit 30 ml reicht auch nicht wie beschildert. Ich werde nun nach einer Firma recherchieren, die diese Art von Folien mit Montage anbietet. Da Glas und transparente Folie leider nicht sichtlich zu fotografieren sind, kann ich keine Bilder einstellen.

UV-Schutz-Folie
Bei einem 140x100cm großem Bild war das Aufbringen der Folie auch zu zweit nicht ganz einfach und das überschüssige Wasser darf auch auf den Teppichboden tropfen. Ist ja nur Wasser mit ein paar Tropfen Neutralreiniger. Wir werden nun sehen, wie lange und gut die Folie in unserem sehr hellen Wohnzimmer den Druck schützt.
Tolles Produkt, gute Anleitung
Die UV-Schutzfolie soll bei unserem Terrarium verhindern, das UV-Strahlen durch das Glas nach außen dringen und uns schädigen. Für unsere ägyptische Landschildkröte brauchen wie starke UV-Leuchten, um die Sonne in der Wüste zu simulieren. Durch die leicht verständliche Anleitung und mithilfe der Transferflüssigkeit ließ sich die Folie einfach aufbringen.
Bild UV Schutz
Wir hatten uns die Folie zum Schutz unserer Bilder gegen das Ausbleichen bei Sonneneinstrahlung gekauft. Die Folie war mit der Anleitung sehr einfach und gut anzubringen. Das Bild liegt nun hinter der Folie, was nur bei sehr genauer Betrachtung auffällt. Was der UV Schutz für die Fotodrucke bringt wird die Zukunft zeigen.

Die Folien wurden schnell und sicher verpackt geliefert, die Montageanleitung ist gut verständlich. Kleinere Folien kann man durchaus alleine anbringen, aber zu zweit ist es schon deutlich einfacher. Anfangs waren noch kleine Blasen und Schlieren zu sehen, nach ein paar Tagen sind die Folien aber komplett unsichtbar. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!
Sehr zufrieden
Es war wirklich sehr einfach die Folie auf unsere 4 Fenster im OG aufzubringen. Die Blasen sind auch eher als angegeben verschwunden. Wir werden nun auch das EG damit ausstatten um unsere Möbel und Bilder zu schützen. Tierhalter sollten jedoch unbedingt im Vorfeld sehr pingelig reinigen und Tierhaare einsaugen, da diese sich sonst durch Luft Verwirbelung unter der Folie verewigen. Im Alltag ist die Folie nicht sichtbar! Top!
Klasse UV-Schutz für Kunstwerke
Die Folie schützt nun ein sehr farbintensives Kunstwerk vor dem Ausbleichen. Die Farbvielfalt ist in keinster Weise beeinträchtigt. Die Folie wurde passgenau zugeschnitten und konnte gut auf das Glas des Rahmens aufgebracht werden. Alles in Allem zu empfehlen!
Gute, einfach zu handhabende Folie
Die Folie ist für ein Dachfenster genutzt worden. Obgleich Zu-/Ausschnitte erforderlich waren, ließ sie sich gut bearbeiten. Die Bestellung und Lieferung waren problemlos und zeitnah. Die Qualität stimmt, sodass ich dieses Produkt uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen kann.
UV-Schutz auch für den kleinen Haushalt :-)
Ich besitze ein altes Puppenhaus, dass nur noch Dekorationszwecken dient. Allerdings haben die letzten Jahre das Papier und die Stoffe etwas ausbleichen lassen. Um den aktuellen Stand zu konservieren, habe ich eine Plexiglasplatte gekauft und das Ganze mit der UV- Schutzfolie beklebt. Die Platte klemme ich vor das Haus, so muss ich nicht mehr so oft „Staubwischen“ und die 70ziger Jahre Einrichtung des Puppenhauses bleibt hoffentlich noch einige Jahre erhalten. Also nicht nur am Schaufenster, sondern auch im privaten Hausgebrauch macht die Folie Sinn. Daumen hoch!
Einfach & schnell
Nach einer freundlichen telefonischen Beratung war die Bestellung schnell erledigt und die Folie wurde passgenau geliefert. Die Montage ist einfach und die Folie nun nahezu unsichtbar.
Kann ich die Folie auch auf der Innenseite des Panoramadachs meines Autos anbringen?
Bis zu welcher Wellenlänge im UVA Bereich und mit wieviel Prozent wird die UVA Strahlung durch die Sonnenschutzfolie geblockt?
Wenn die Folie als Schutz vor Vogelschlag dienen soll, beklebe ich letztendlich (streifenweise) nur die halbe Fensterfläche, richtig?

Überzeugendes Produkt
Wenn die Montage nach Anweisung erfolgt ist die UV Folie nicht zu erkennen. Was nicht gut war, ist die Trennung der Träger- und Klebefolie. Es wäre gut, wenn der Lieferung zwei abgestimmte Klebestreifen beigefügt werden (nicht alle halten). Die Zuschnitte waren sehr gut.
