Questions and answers

How do I stick a frosted glass film?

Frosted glass films have a transparent adhesive applied to the back, just like a sticker. There is a protective film on it that must first be removed. Now the adhesive side and the pane are sprayed with water. Then the privacy film is placed on the glass and the water is wiped out from under the film.

When does frosted glass film provide privacy?

Frosted glass films offer identical visual protection during the day and at night. With most frosted glass films, objects located directly behind the film can only be seen dimly. With increasing distance, the view becomes more and more diffuse. Due to their high opacity, a soft shadow is the maximum that can be seen even at night.

How do I remove frosted glass film from the window?

To remove a frosted glass film, grasp it at one corner and then slowly pull it off at a flat angle. In the case of adhesive films, the film can be warmed up beforehand with a hair dryer to dissolve the film adhesive.
