This silver, deeply tinted mirrored blackout film for exterior installation, also known as block-out film, features a black inner side and a silver mirrored outer side.
Incoming light is reduced by more than 99%! This creates a very dark room when the window is the only natural light source. As one of the most effective solar control window films against heat, up to 99% of solar radiation is reflected! In addition, the film provides an exceptionally high UV protection of over 99%. It also offers an impressive 100% glare reduction.
Thanks to its outstanding solar protection properties, room heating is significantly reduced, indoor comfort is improved, air conditioning costs are lowered, fading of furniture and carpets is greatly minimized, and the room is almost completely darkened. This film is ideal whenever permanent room darkening is required or, for example, when triangular windows in bedrooms cannot be darkened with roller shutters.
The scratch-resistant surface of the blackout film makes cleaning easy with standard glass cleaners. It is dirt-resistant and low-maintenance.

You should definitely order the Transfer concentrate, item no. 020010, separately. It makes assembly easier and leads to a better result. Alternatively, you can also use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Technical Information
Manufacturer's guarantee
The manufacturer grants a guarantee of 3 years for vertical installation and 2 years for sloped glazing (skylights) with a roof pitch of 25° or more. In the case of sloped glazing (roof windows), the edges of the film must be sealed all the way round. This guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film.
Durability
Depending on various factors, the durability of films for external installation is 4 to 6 years in Central Europe. In the case of sloped glazing such as roof windows with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the greater exposure to sunlight and environmental influences. These specifications only apply to films sealed on the reverse for external installation.

Additional installation instructions
The pane should also be provided with an edge seal. We offer you the appropriate Neutral silicone or as Edge sealing set with joint filler. Alternatively, you can also use a Insert edge sealing pen. To prevent glass breakage, the entire pane must always be covered with this film; partial coatings are not permitted.

Erstklassiges Produkt
Wir haben die "Verdunkelungsfolie und Sonnenschutzfolie, silber verspiegelt" jetzt seit 3 Monaten im Einsatz und sie funktioniert perfekt. Selbst von 40 Grad Außentemperatur war in dem abgedunkelten Raum kaum etwas zu merken. Die Montage ging ebenfalls denkbar einfach. Wir sind rundum glücklich!

Tolle Folie mit starker Verdunkelung!
Die verdunkelnde Spiegelschutzfolie ist hochwertig, leicht anzubringen und sorgt im Schlafzimmer für komplette Dunkelheit – perfekt für unser Dreiecksfenster, wo sonst keine Verdunkelung möglich war. Leider habe ich mich um 0,5 cm vermessen und muss sie daher erneut bestellen. Klare Empfehlung!

Mein Fensterglas bzw. die Struktur davon ist leicht „wellig“. Kann man darauf auch die Folie kleben?

Innenmontage möglich?
Ich würde gerne exakt diese Folie für mein Dachfenster bestellen, weil sie den maximalsten Hitzeschutz im Vergleich zu den anderen Folien bietet. Allerdings möchte ich die Folie innen montieren - in der Beschreibung steht jedoch „Aussenmontage“. Kann ich die Folie dennoch auf der Innenseite anbringen? Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung.
Bei einem Dachfenster sollten Sie keine verspiegelte Folie von innen anbringen! Das Glas würde durch die Sonneneinstrahlung hohen Wärmespannungen ausgesetzt was die Gefahr von Glasbruch maximiert.
Auf der Außenseite liegt die Scheibe hinter der Folie bereits im Schatten und erwärmt sich deutlich weniger, wodurch diese Montageseite unproblematisch ist. Wir empfehlen das Dachfenster in die Putzstellung zu drehen und die Folie dann auf der Außenseite anzubringen.
