Sun Protection Film for Installation on Plastic Surfaces / Plastic Glazing
(such as Plexiglas, Acrylic Glass, Makrolon, Lexan, or Multiwall Sheets)
This exterior sun protection film is a new product specially developed for plastic surfaces, offering significant heat reduction. It can accommodate temperature-related expansion of plastic surfaces without cracking, unlike conventional sun protection films. Its semi-permanent adhesive allows for surface outgassing and facilitates removal or replacement even after many years.

This reduces room heating, improves indoor climate, and helps prevent fading of furniture and carpets. Even in open covered areas, this sun protection film provides noticeable heat reduction.
Applications
This film is suitable for terrace coverings, conservatories, as well as commercial or industrial spaces with polycarbonate glazing. The scratch-resistant surface of the sun protection film makes cleaning with standard glass cleaners easy. It is dirt-repellent and low-maintenance.
Removal Instructions
Removing this sun protection film from plastic surfaces may leave adhesive residues depending on the duration of application. Over time, the adhesive can bond strongly with the plastic. Removing it may cause damage to the plastic surface. In rare cases, bubbling may occur between the film and the plastic surface. More information can be found in the Product dataProduct data.

You should definitely order the Transfer concentrate, item no. 020010, separately. It makes assembly easier and leads to a better result. Alternatively, you can also use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Note and exclusion of warranty
In rare cases, bubbles may form between the film and the plastic surface after installation. The reason for this is the "outgassing" of the usually new plastic surface. Unfortunately, this cannot be recognised in advance and it is also not possible to predict when bubbles will form. The risk is therefore borne by the customer and any warranty from us is excluded.
Manufacturer's guarantee
The manufacturer grants a guarantee of 3 years on the solar control film for plastic surfaces when installed vertically and on sloped glazing (roof windows) with a roof pitch of 25° or more. The edges of the film must be sealed all round. This guarantee applies to peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film.
Durability
Depending on various factors, the durability of films for external installation is up to 5 years in Central Europe. In the case of sloped glazing such as skylights with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the greater exposure to sunlight and the higher stress caused by environmental influences. This information only applies to films sealed on the reverse for external installation.

Gute Folie, easy Montage. Empfehle den Filzrakel auf jeden Fall mit zu bestellen, das vereinfacht die Montage und hilft enorm.
Klasse Beratung und einfache Anwendung
Ich habe die Folie zum UV-Schutz unseres Verkaufsautomaten bestellt. An erster Stelle möchte ich mich für die sehr freundliche und ausführliche Beratung am Telefon bedanken. Der Verkäufer hat uns genau die passende Folie empfohlen. Man kann weiterhin ideal durch die Scheibe sehen und zusätzlich zum UV-Schutz haben wir nun auch einen geringen Schutz gegen Vandalismus. Nachdem die erste Folie so gut angebracht werden konnte, werden wir noch weitere bestellen für die anderen Automaten.

ebracht. Sie ist inzwischen etwas zerkratzt und muss zusätzlich gereinigt werden. Wie und mit welchen Mitteln kann ich das tun ohne die Folie selbst und natürlich die Funktionsfähigkeit zu beschädigen.
Wir haben in unserem Bungalow ein Plexiglasfenster eingebaut (120 breit x 90 hoch) . Wir suchen dafür eine Spionsichtschutzfolie. Gibt es so etwas?

How to remove it and replace it after the expected degradationtime of 5 years?
Why cant this last longer (let's hope 20 years?) Do you have a static variant?
Whether the film can be removed cleanly depends on the nature of the surface and the location of use. If the surface is weathered and exposed to direct sunlight, removing the film may prove difficult; the adhesive could form a strong bond with the substrate. Unlike with glass, for instance, this bond cannot simply be broken using a glass scraper.
The stated durability applies to a horizontal installation. In this position, the film’s lifespan is reduced because the UV exposure is particularly damaging. If the film is mounted vertically, it may last longer.
Unfortunately, a static-cling version is not available; such a product would not withstand outdoor wind and weather for long.
