2in1: Hail protection film with thermal insulation for roof windows
In view of increasing weather extremes such as hailstorms, protecting window surfaces from hailstorms is becoming more and more important. A special protective film can make roof windows in particular more resistant to glass breakage caused by severe storms. It also prevents rainwater from penetrating into the interior if the glass is damaged despite everything.
In the event of glass breakage, the externally applied hail protection film keeps the splinters together so that your rooms remain dry and the risk of injury is reduced. For optimum safety, we recommend applying an edge seal to the film to fully protect the window. The risk of injury from broken glass is significantly minimised in accordance with DIN EN 12600. Despite the additional protection, the pane remains clear and the film almost invisible.
With its maximum heat reduction, it is particularly suitable for south-facing windows and doors. In addition, the hail protection film offers UV protection of around 95 %, which significantly slows down the fading of furniture, textiles, carpets or shop window displays. Large windows are particularly suitable, as the loss of light is less noticeable here. In everyday rooms with smaller windows (less than one square metre), you should perhaps dispense with the thermal protection and switch to the clear transparent hail protection film, as this does not take away any daylight.

The anti-shatter film is used wherever damage caused by hail needs to be avoided, whether on vertically installed windows in the home or on roof windows. The scratch-resistant surface of the hail protection film makes it easy to clean with standard glass cleaners. It is dirt-repellent and easy to clean. At night, when the interior lighting is switched on, a reflection appears on the inside of the film.

Manufacturer's guarantee
The manufacturer grants a guarantee of 3 years on the hail protection film for external installation when installed vertically and for inclined glazing (roof windows) from a roof pitch of 25° and additional circumferential sealing of the film edges. This guarantee covers peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film.
Durability
The durability of the films for interior installation is up to 12 years, depending on various factors. For outdoor installation, up to 5 years is considered realistic. In the case of external installation on sloped glazing such as skylights with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the stronger solar radiation and higher exposure to environmental influences.
This information only applies to films sealed on the reverse for external installation.

Top Sonnenschutzfolien!
Super einfach zu bedienender Bestellassistent. Die Abwicklung war schnell und perfekt. Produkt wie beschrieben. Alles ist bestens gelaufen. Aus meiner Sicht sehr empfehlenswert!
Wirksam und schnell montiert
Wir haben zwei Dachfenster in Richtung Süden und im Sommer brennt die Sonne da ganz schön rein. Immer die Innenjalousie zumachen macht zwar dunkel, aber die Hitze ist dann trotzdem schon im Raum. Nach dem Anbringen der Folie bleibt der Raum merklich kühler. Das Anbringen ist recht einfach wenn man die Anleitung beachtet bzw. sich das Video anschaut. Von daher volle Punktzahl, auch für den genauen Zuschnitt der Folie.

Die Folie ist von sehr guter Qualität und lässt sich sehr gut anbringen. Auch der Service ist sehr gut ( Beratung per Video, Musterbestellung
Absolut empfehlenswert
Zunächst möchte ich den ausgezeichneten Service dieser Firma erwähnen. Neben der telefonischen fachmännischen Beratung wurden uns diverse Musterfolien als Entscheidungshilfe zugeschickt. Nach einer sehr kurzen Lieferzeit konnten wir die Folien blasen- und faltenfrei einwandfrei mit dem Montageset montieren. Die Folien erfüllen absolut ihren Zweck. Durch das Montagevideo auf der Homepage und die der Lieferung beigelegene Montageanleitung wurden uns wertvolle Hinweise für die Montage gegeben. Dadurch konnten wir nichts falsch machen.
Darf man zusätzlich auf die Fensterinnenseite eine andere Folie kleben um mehr Schutz vor Durchsicht zu haben?

Ich würde die Sonnenschutzfolie -Hagelschutz gerne für die Heckfenster eines alten Krankenwagens einsetzen. Sind die Folien vom Spiegeln des Lichts von hinter mir fahrenden Autos für den Straßenverkehr geeignet?
Sollte man die Folie versiegeln an den Rändern?
Schützt sie auch vor Kälte?
Ist die Folie für ein gläsernes Gewächshaus stabil genug, dass die Scheiben auf dem Dach vor Hagel geschützt sind?
Kann man diese Schutzfolie auch für Dachfenster aus Kunststoff z.B. eines Wohnwagens verwenden.
