This opaque reflective high-performance film is ideal for use in decorative and advertising technology, e.g. for creating effects, for signage, markings or vehicle lettering. It can also be used for creative designs on flat and slightly curved surfaces. It is very dimensionally stable and resistant.
This high-quality metal effect film is also suitable for elegant lettering and logos. It has a high-gloss finish on the adhesive-coated side and is therefore also suitable for mirror-inverted lettering on shop window interiors. Please note that the colour reproduction can only serve as a non-binding guide.
Explanation of the mirror effect
This silver chrome foil can also be used as a mirror, but with slight distortions. The distortions are caused by the not 100% smooth mounting on the respective substrate. The smoother the surface, the less distortion will be visible after mounting.
Surface quality is decisive
In addition, the surface of the film is not as smooth as is the case with conventional mirrors. These are polished several times to obtain a perfectly flat surface. Due to the manufacturing process, the film cannot reproduce the exact surface pressure of the mirrors. Applied to curved surfaces, it distorts the mirror image in width or height, known from the mirror cabinet.

The manufacturer grants a 2-year durability guarantee on these metal effect films when installed vertically outdoors. Indoors, the durability is considerably longer.
Due to the risk of glass breakage, these metal effect films should not be applied to windows or glass doors that are exposed to the sun.

Top Lösung für einen Tank ohne Chrom
Chrom-Folie wurde zum folieren der Seiten eines Moped Tanks benutzt der normalerweise an der Seite verchromt ist. Das Händling gestaltete sich sehr einfach und mit etwas mehr Übung wäre das Ergebnis sicherlich noch besser geworden. Alles in allem ein sehr hochwertiges Produkt das mich voll überzeugt hat.

Wird die Chromfolie mit Warmluft aufgebracht wie bei einer Fahrzeugfolierung? Es sollen die Tankseitenflächen eines Mopeds damit versehen werden, ähnlich Ihrem Kundenanwendungsfoto.
Der Untergrund darf nicht zu stark gewölbt sein. Beispielweise einen Ball könnte man nicht faltenfrei folieren. Leichte Wölbungen wie bei einem Tank sind hingegen kein Problem wenn die Folie mit einem Fön etwas erwärmt wird.
