This only slightly mirrored spy mirror film provides moderate protection against prying eyes during the day. This film is recommended for rooms in which it should continue to be as bright as possible and at the same time not one hundred per cent privacy protection is acceptable.
Objects behind the window film can be vaguely recognised, although the reflection makes them much harder to see. You can still look out clearly, the view is only slightly obscured compared to an unfoiled window.
This mirror film also offers a high level of heat reduction. Internal and external installation are available. You can find out which one is right for your glazing under the %detail.description.linkProduct data% tab.

The scratch-resistant surface of the spy mirror film makes it easy to clean with standard glass cleaners. It is dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
The difference between this Prolight and classic spy mirror film
Compared to our thicker spy mirror film with maximum privacy protection/mirroring, this film allows daylight to pass through better and the view is also less darkened. It feels like only 10-15 % light loss.
In comparison: the stronger alternative darkens by a perceived 25-30 %. On the other hand, it offers even more effective heat protection from the sun's rays thanks to its unrivalled level of reflectivity.
When does the spy mirror film work?
Mirror films only work as long as it is brighter outside than inside. When the light is switched on, you can look inside again. The same also applies if, for example, light enters through a window on the opposite side. To ensure privacy, the inside must therefore be darker than the outside. To achieve this, the window must be fully foiled. In all other cases, it is possible to look in and even difficult to look out, as the reflection will always be on the lighter side.
No safe function indoors!
Mirror films do not work indoors if it is similarly bright on both sides. For the reflection to appear on one side, it must be significantly brighter on this side than on the back. This is usually only the case with external windows when there is daylight outside.

Technical Information
Manufacturer's guarantee
The manufacturer grants a 10-year guarantee on the spy mirror film for internal installation. The edges of the film for external installation must be sealed all the way round. The guarantee is then 8 years for vertical installation and 2 years for inclined glazing (roof windows) from a roof pitch of 25°. This guarantee covers peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film when installed in Central Europe.
Durability
The durability of the films for interior installation is up to 15 years, depending on various factors. For external installation, a durability of 10 years is considered realistic if the film is installed in Central Europe.
In the case of external installation on sloped glazing such as skylights with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the stronger sunlight and the higher exposure to environmental influences. This information only applies to films sealed on the reverse for external installation.

Exterior installation for non-vertical panes
For horizontal glazing, soundproof glazing, or sloped glazing (roof windows), exterior installation is mandatory. The pane should also be fitted with a Edge sealing can be provided. For this purpose, we offer you the appropriate Neutralsilicone or as Edge sealing set with joint filler. Alternatively, you can also use a Insert edge sealing pin. To prevent glass breakage, the entire pane must always be covered with this film; partial coatings are not permitted.

Tipp Top
Die Folie ist sehr einfach in der Anbringung. Mit dem Sprüher und dem Wasser zusammen, alles sehr schön flusenfrei geworden. Vorher die Fenster mit einer Klinge vorsichtig abziehen.
Optisch schöner Sichtschutz
Sie prima aus und sehr leicht zu montieren. Würde aber den Abstand zum Rahmen beim nächsten mal etwas kleiner wählen.
Spiegelfolie, leicht verspiegelt
Ein super Produkt, da hiermit nur eine geringe Verdunklung des Raumes verursacht wird. Ganz im Gegensatz zu normalen Spiegelfolien, die den Raum i.d.R. leider deutlich abdunkeln. Trotzdem ist kein Hineinschauen von außen möglich, selbst mit Nase an der Scheibe. Speziell an schattigen, sowieso schon dunklen Fenstern/Räumen (EG, direkt davor teilw. begrünt) eine gute Lösung, um sich vor Blicken anderer zu schützen!
Auch für kompliziertere Fenster
Nicht zum ersten Mal habe ich hier Folien bestellt und mit der vorangegangenen Übung, mich an ein komplizierteres Fenster gewagt. Die Oberfläche des Fensters ist wellig und ich hatte großen Respekt vor der Verklebung. Aber es hat sehr gut funktioniert. Ich bin mit der Qualität der Folie und der Beratung sehr zufrieden.

Perfekt
Die Folie habe ich im Arbeitszimmer angebracht, um neugierigen Blicken von der Straße zu entgehen. So brauche ich keine Gardinen, Rollos oder Plissees. Ich kann rausschauen, aber man sieht mich nicht. Das anbringen hat gut geklappt. Ich würde es aber beim nächsten Mal bei Tageslicht machen. Ein bis zwei Bläschen habe ich so übersehen. Die Bestellung ist einfach und die Lieferung ging schnell. Alles war gut verpackt und die Beschreibung war verständlich. Da das Fenster sonnenseitig ist, tut es dem Raumklima und meinen Pflanzen auch gut. Freunde und Bekannte haben nicht bemerkt, dass Folie an den Scheiben angebracht ist. Der Raum ist ein ganz kleines bisschen dunkler.

Erwartungen erfüllt
Der Bestellvorgang ist komfortabel, die Lieferung über DHL etwas beschwerlich, was aber ausschließlich der Lieferdienst zu verantworten hat. Die Folie selbst erfüllt meine Erwartungen. Der Raum wird nur geringfügig dunkler, was mir sehr wichtig war, der Sichtschutz ist ausreichend gegeben und die Hitze bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung deutlich reduziert. Die Handhabung bei der Anbringung der Folie ist nicht ganz so einfach, die erste Folie ist mir etwas zusammengepappt, man sieht es von außen, ganz glatt ist sie an den zwei Stellen nicht mehr, von innen sieht man es nicht. Bei der dritten Folie hatte ich dann den Dreh raus und sie klebt perfekt auf der Balkontüre. Die Beratung war sehr freundlich, fachkundig und sehr geduldig.

Wie gedacht
Das Produkt, der Zuschnitt und die Verpackung bzw. Lieferung hat meine Erwartungen gänzlich erfüllt und ist als sehr gut zu beschreiben. Gerne wieder; ist zu empfehlen.
Passt sehr gut
Ich war erst skeptisch, weil viele kleine Bläschen nach dem anbringen drauf waren. Aber nach ein paar Tagen waren alle verschwunden. Verdunkelt auch nicht zu stark. Gute Folie!
Muss man die Folie außen über das komplette Fenster kleben oder reicht es, wenn man zB nur die Hälfte des Fenster verspiegelt haben möchte?
Unsere Scheiben wurden erst dieses Jahr eigesetzt. Die Fenster befinden sich aber auf der Wetterseite und bekommen direkt den Regen ab. Ist das kontraproduktiv wenn dann die Folie außen angebracht wird?
Bei neuen Scheiben sollte die Folie nur von außen angebracht werden, selbst wenn es die Wetterseite ist. Unsere Variante für die Außenmontage hält das problemlos viele Jahre aus. Von einer Innenmontage raten wir in diesem Fall ab.
Ich wollte nachfragen ob es möglich ist wenn man die Spiegelfolie außen angebracht hat das man zusätzlich innen eine Entspiegelungsfolie anbringt damit es abends nicht so sehr spiegelt.

Ich möchte eine durchsichtige Sichtschutzfolie (Fenster) anbringen. Bei der Spionagefolie und der Sonnenschutzfolie wird auf die Verspiegelung hingewiesen. Haben beide eine vergleichbare Verspiegelung?
Welche empfiehlt sich bei Priorität Sichtschutz von außen (bei geringer Lichtverdunkelung)?
Meine Fenster haben eine 3-fach Verglasung sind Baujahr 2014 und befinden sich auf der Ostseite mit täglich ca. 3 Stunden Sonneneinstrahlung. Der Feuerzeugtest ergab 6 Flammen, davon die 2te und 5te mit einer anderen Farbe und werden beschichtet sein. Kann ich eine Spion-Spiegelfolie Prolight auf der Außenseite meiner Fenster anbringen ohne einen Glasbruch auszulösen bzw. gibt es eine Folie für diese Fenster die eine Einsicht von außen erschwert und die Aussicht nach draußen ermöglicht.
Um welches Material handelt es sich bei der Prolight Spiegelfolie und bei der Spion-Siegelfolie, silber verspiegelt?

Erfüllt die Erwartungen leider nicht
Lieferung und Abwicklung waren problemlos. Der Spiegeleffekt bzw. Sichtschutz Effekt der Pro Light Folie ist leider sehr schwach und bringt unserer Meinung nach gar nichts. Jedenfalls ist der Effekt nicht so, wie am Bild des Produktes, sondern so, wie auf unserem beigefügten Foto. Die Antwort auf unser Schreiben vom Sales Management war leider ebenfalls recht dürftig. Hier wurde uns nur nochmals erklärt wie die Folie funktioniert (Text auf der Homepage- Produktbeschreibung)
Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Man muss ehrlich sagen, dass die Folie bei Ihnen aufgrund der Lichtverhältnisse nicht funktionier. Dies tut uns sehr leid. Vermutlich würde hier auch die noch stärkere Spionspiegelfolie keine Spieglung zeigen, weil es auf der Außenseite zu dunkel ist und dafür innenliegend Lichtquelle entgegen wirken. Der Text in der Produktbeschreibung beschreibt genau diesen Fall. Das Fenster wirkt auf dem Bild außen so als wenn es unter einem Vordach öder ähnlichem im Schatten liegt. Dadurch ist der Lichtunterschied im Vergleich zu innen zu gering, es kann sich physikalisch bedingt leider keine Spiegelung zeigen.
