This only slightly mirrored spy mirror film provides moderate protection against prying eyes during the day. This film is recommended for rooms in which it should continue to be as bright as possible and at the same time not one hundred per cent privacy protection is acceptable.
Objects behind the window film can be vaguely recognised, although the reflection makes them much harder to see. You can still look out clearly, the view is only slightly obscured compared to an unfoiled window.
This mirror film also offers a high level of heat reduction. Internal and external installation are available. You can find out which one is right for your glazing under the %detail.description.linkProduct data% tab.

The scratch-resistant surface of the spy mirror film makes it easy to clean with standard glass cleaners. It is dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
The difference between this Prolight and classic spy mirror film
Compared to our thicker spy mirror film with maximum privacy protection/mirroring, this film allows daylight to pass through better and the view is also less darkened. It feels like only 10-15 % light loss.
In comparison: the stronger alternative darkens by a perceived 25-30 %. On the other hand, it offers even more effective heat protection from the sun's rays thanks to its unrivalled level of reflectivity.
When does the spy mirror film work?
Mirror films only work as long as it is brighter outside than inside. When the light is switched on, you can look inside again. The same also applies if, for example, light enters through a window on the opposite side. To ensure privacy, the inside must therefore be darker than the outside. To achieve this, the window must be fully foiled. In all other cases, it is possible to look in and even difficult to look out, as the reflection will always be on the lighter side.
No safe function indoors!
Mirror films do not work indoors if it is similarly bright on both sides. For the reflection to appear on one side, it must be significantly brighter on this side than on the back. This is usually only the case with external windows when there is daylight outside.

Technical Information
Manufacturer's guarantee
The manufacturer grants a 10-year guarantee on the spy mirror film for internal installation. The edges of the film for external installation must be sealed all the way round. The guarantee is then 8 years for vertical installation and 2 years for inclined glazing (roof windows) from a roof pitch of 25°. This guarantee covers peeling, yellowing and demetallisation of the film when installed in Central Europe.
Durability
The durability of the films for interior installation is up to 15 years, depending on various factors. For external installation, a durability of 10 years is considered realistic if the film is installed in Central Europe.
In the case of external installation on sloped glazing such as skylights with a roof pitch of 25° or more, this durability is reduced accordingly due to the stronger sunlight and the higher exposure to environmental influences. This information only applies to films sealed on the reverse for external installation.

Exterior installation for non-vertical panes
For horizontal glazing, soundproof glazing, or sloped glazing (roof windows), exterior installation is mandatory. The pane should also be fitted with a Edge sealing can be provided. For this purpose, we offer you the appropriate Neutralsilicone or as Edge sealing set with joint filler. Alternatively, you can also use a Insert edge sealing pin. To prevent glass breakage, the entire pane must always be covered with this film; partial coatings are not permitted.

Bewertung
Grundsätzlich bin ich mit der Spiegelfolie sehr zufrieden, wenngleich die Montage bei der von mir bestellten Folie aufgrund der Größe (85 × 195 cm) doch eine gewisse Herausforderung war. Und offenbar habe ich auch eine der beiden Folien falsch montiert (Innenmontage - Spiegelung außen - und irgendwie klebt das Teil auch auf der Innenseite, wenn man hin greift!)

Das anbringen der Folie klappt super. Ich hatte eine sehr hohe Scheibe fast 2 m und 90 cm breit. Ich bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden. Dinge innen lassen sich schemenhaft erkennen.

Wir haben einige Folien bestellt. Die Verpackung war sehr sehr gut. Eine Anleitung war auch dabei und mit dieser war das Anbringen einfach. Auch der Service am Telefon war toll, mit diesem hatten wir vor Bestellung gesprochen. Nur zum empfehlen.

Ich habe die Spiegelfolie innen an mein Fenster angebracht und bin begeistert. Niemand kann tagsüber von außen hineinschauen während ich von innen eine klare Sicht nach draußen habe.

Perfekte Lösung
Die Folie ist perfekt für unser Bad. Auf der Straße laufende Menschen können nicht reinsehen, aber im Bad scheint noch genug Licht herein. Ich bin so zufrieden das wir das dritte Mal eine Folie schon bestellen. Danke für die ideale Lösung.
Spiegelfolie für küche
Die Folie ließ sich insgesamt gut anbringen, allerdings sind auch nach einer Woche noch einige kleine Bläschen sichtbar, die sich nicht vollständig entfernen ließen. Daher empfehle ich, bei der Anbringung besonders sorgfältig zu arbeiten. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass die Innenanbringung der Folie nur bei Einfachverglasung wirklich geeignet ist. Diese Information war nicht sofort ersichtlich, was zu Missverständnissen führen kann. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn beim Anklicken der Innenfolie ein Pop-up erscheinen würde, das auf diese Einschränkung hinweist.

Muss man die Folie außen über das komplette Fenster kleben oder reicht es, wenn man zB nur die Hälfte des Fenster verspiegelt haben möchte?
Unsere Scheiben wurden erst dieses Jahr eigesetzt. Die Fenster befinden sich aber auf der Wetterseite und bekommen direkt den Regen ab. Ist das kontraproduktiv wenn dann die Folie außen angebracht wird?
Bei neuen Scheiben sollte die Folie nur von außen angebracht werden, selbst wenn es die Wetterseite ist. Unsere Variante für die Außenmontage hält das problemlos viele Jahre aus. Von einer Innenmontage raten wir in diesem Fall ab.
Ich wollte nachfragen ob es möglich ist wenn man die Spiegelfolie außen angebracht hat das man zusätzlich innen eine Entspiegelungsfolie anbringt damit es abends nicht so sehr spiegelt.

Ich möchte eine durchsichtige Sichtschutzfolie (Fenster) anbringen. Bei der Spionagefolie und der Sonnenschutzfolie wird auf die Verspiegelung hingewiesen. Haben beide eine vergleichbare Verspiegelung?
Welche empfiehlt sich bei Priorität Sichtschutz von außen (bei geringer Lichtverdunkelung)?
Meine Fenster haben eine 3-fach Verglasung sind Baujahr 2014 und befinden sich auf der Ostseite mit täglich ca. 3 Stunden Sonneneinstrahlung. Der Feuerzeugtest ergab 6 Flammen, davon die 2te und 5te mit einer anderen Farbe und werden beschichtet sein. Kann ich eine Spion-Spiegelfolie Prolight auf der Außenseite meiner Fenster anbringen ohne einen Glasbruch auszulösen bzw. gibt es eine Folie für diese Fenster die eine Einsicht von außen erschwert und die Aussicht nach draußen ermöglicht.
Um welches Material handelt es sich bei der Prolight Spiegelfolie und bei der Spion-Siegelfolie, silber verspiegelt?

Sehr gute Qualität, anbringen etwas schwer
Die Folie kam super verpackt, mit Anleitung. Beim Aufbringen auf der Außenseite, ist es nur schwer, bei aktueller Blütenjahreszeit, keine Einschlüsse zu haben. Leider haben sich 2-3 h nach anbringen wieder viel kleine Bläschen gebildet. Leider keine Idee warum.
Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es kann passieren, dass sich Bläschen unter der Folie bilden. Das ist Restflüssigkeit, die beim Rakeln nicht mit rausgedrückt wurde. Diese läuft mit der Zeit unter der Folie zwischen dem bereits anziehenden Kleber nach unten und sammelt sich an einigen Stellen. Da die Folien dampfdiffusionsoffen sind diffundiert diese Restflüssigkeit mit der Zeit nach außen. Die Bläschen werden also alle verschwinden wenn sie nicht größer als ein Fingernagel sind! Bitte unternehmen Sie jetzt nichts und haben Sie ein paar Tage Geduld. Es dauert in der Regel 4-8 Wochen bis alle Bläschen verschwunden sind. Je nach Temperatur und Sonneneinstrahlung geht dieser Prozess schneller oder langsamer
