Self-adhesive anti-reflective film for screens and touchscreens

With this anti-reflective film, you can reduce unpleasant reflections on televisions or displays, which can be caused by sunlight shining in from behind. The clear and pin-sharp view of the screen remains undisturbed thanks to the very high transparency of this anti-reflective film. Only the contrast values of the display are slightly reduced by the minimally rough film surface. With most devices, this can be counteracted by increasing the contrast value in the settings.

Applicable in many areas

This screen protection film provides anti-reflective protection for the screens of modern devices that are controlled by touch. For example, smartphones, mobile phones, tablet computers, monitors, digital cameras and navigation systems in cars. The anti-reflective film is hard-coated and offers optimal transparency and scratch resistance with good chemical resistance.

The product uses a silicone adhesive layer that allows for easy and bubble-free installation. This technology allows the film to be repositioned and leaves no residue after removal! The film can simply be lifted at one corner and removed again.

Installation instructions for anti-reflective film

You will need the following things

Adhesive tape (not included in delivery)
Surface & glass cleaner 500 ml (not included in delivery included) or commercially available glass cleaner
Installation squeegee with felt edge, item no. 010150 (not included in delivery)

Installation tips

For films over 1m² you should install them in pairs!
Do not install a film if the temperature on the installation side is below +6° C.

Step by step instructions

Clean the surface thoroughly with a commercially available surface cleaner or, in the case of glass, our glass cleaner!
Remove all sticky particles (e.g. paint or fly dirt) using the glass scraper blade (only on glass). No dirt residue should remain on the surface!
Separate the carrier film from the anti-reflective film using adhesive strips that you stick to a corner on the front and back of the film and pull apart. The carrier film usually stays on one adhesive strip and the actual anti-reflective film stays on the other adhesive strip.

The carrier film is transparent, very thin and actually there.
Now hold the anti-reflective film firmly while the second person pulls the carrier film off a little, starting from the corner, while making sure that the anti-reflective film does not stick together.
Place the anti-reflective film on the surface, starting at one edge, while the second person holds the remaining part of the anti-reflective film away from the glass pane.
Now start to press the anti-reflective film very lightly with the mounting squeegee while the second person continues to hold the remaining part of the anti-reflective film away from the surface. If you need to realign the film on the surface again, simply peel it off again and repeat the installation process.
After you have made a start, peel off the carrier film a little more and press the anti-reflective film back on with the installation squeegee. Make sure that air bubbles are removed directly with the installation squeegee.
Repeat this process until the entire film has been applied.

Answer:

Theoretisch möglich, allerdings wird das Bild aufgrund der fehlenden Hintergrundbeleuchtung eines Displays weniger gut erkennbar sein. Sie können sich gerne ein kostenloses Muster bestellen und damit einen Test machen um den Effekt in echt zu sehen.

Die Entspiegelungsfolie hat einen silikonbasierten Kleber, welcher keine Rückstände hinterlässt! Die Folie einfach abziehen und sie ist restlos entfernt.

Question:

Kann man die Folie auch auf Glasscheiben kleben, wenn dahinter der Monitor ist der Entspiegelt werden soll?

Answer:

Das geht leider nicht, die Folie muss direkt auf dem Display mit Hintergrundbeleuchtung aufgeklebt sein. Wenn sie davor auf eine Glasscheibe geklebt wird ist die Durchsicht leicht milchig und man erkennt das Display dahinter schlechter.
Die milchige Durchsicht entsteht durch die minimal raue Oberfläche der Folie. Direkt auf einem Display montiert fällt diese hingegen nicht weiter auf.

Kann man die Folie auch auf Curved Monitoren anbringen? Geht dort Entspiegelungseffekt verloren durch die Krümmung?

Answer:

Es ist durchaus möglich, die Folien auf leicht negativ gewölbten Displays zu installieren, solange die Oberfläche zylindrisch und nicht 3D verformt ist.
Alles hängt vom Radius der Biegung ab und muss in der Praxis getestet werden.
